Chief Madzimawe of eastern province has noted with concern that the house of chiefs has not played an effective role towards the country’s developmental agenda due to government failure to fund their operations.
His Royal Highness Madzimawe says despite the introduction of the ministry of chiefs by the patriotic front administration their input on national affairs has remained low.
The former house chiefs’ chairperson expressed displeasure over the inability by the house to address succession and land deputes among traditional leaders in the country.
